Cincinnati Reds beat Arizona Diamondbacks 6-2, quick three-game losing streak


The Cincinnati Reds defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-2 on Tuesday night, snapping a three-game losing streak. Cincinnati is 18-24 on the season after the win.

Hunter Greene allowed just two runs and five hits in seven innings. He finished with five strikeouts and walked one.

The Reds’ bats also came alive, as Will Benson hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning to give Cincinnati a 4-2 lead. Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-4 with an RBI. He made a good impression at the plate last week, which is a great sign for the veteran after a slow start to the season.

Stuart Fairchild, Santiago Espinal Jake Fraley Candelario also had RBIs to help Cincinnati break their losing streak and get back into the winning column.
